Tacoma Refugee Choir is excited for the “Return of Live Singing” with a drive-in concert at LeMay-America’s Car Museum Haub Field on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This unique concert will maintain state safety protocols while enjoying the power of community and the joy of music. With all the challenges of the past year, we are so excited to share music together as a choir and to renew hope and our connection as a community.

In addition to live performances by the Tacoma Refugee Choir, guest artists will include Shaina Shepherd, Kingpin X, Rocky Sandoval and emcee Tracie Davis. The audience will even get involved in creating a “Car Horn Symphony” and dancing from inside your car or outside within your designated parking spot. You might choose to arrive early to attend the LeMay Car Museum or enjoy food trucks on site for a full day experience.

Drive-in events have been authorized and we have been approved to sing together with this system from Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. Attendees must wear a mask at all times when outside their vehicle. Thanks to funding from Greater Tacoma Community Foundation and the Tacoma Arts Commission, we have equipment that allows us to safely sing together and share with our community for this very special drive-in concert.

*Please note all the tickets are general admission (per car) and tickets bought at any price point grant the holder of the ticket the same access to the event. And you only need to purchase one ticket per car.
